The following online classes are now available with Jenny Thomas, book at the registration link. All times are set to GMT.

All classes are recorded and uploaded to my YouTube page, so you can watch and practice at your leisure.

1 –  CONNECTING A-Z AUTHENTIC JAZZ STEPS PART 3 – How we connect steps together with music.

All levels welcome.  

This is a continuation of my A-Z of Authentic Solo Jazz Steps courses Parts 1 & 2. However, previous attendance is not required for you to join this class.

This class is designed to not only refresh your memory of each step but each week I’ll be creating short easy Jazz sequences, covering weight transitions, body positioning, arm positions and styling variations whilst applying them to various musical tempos and how they connect with each other.

The past four courses of A-Z Solo Jazz Steps and Connecting A-Z Part 1 & 2, can still be purchased for unlimited viewing.

2 – AUTHENTIC JAZZ ROUTINE – The Tranky Doo & Trickeration Refresher Course.  

All Levels

I will revise these two classic authentic routines in half the usual time! Two weeks for the Tranky Doo & two weeks for Trickeration. Ideal class for those wanting to refresh your memory and enjoy a fun class but if you’re a fast learner and haven’t done either routine before then this class is also perfect for you.

3 – SOFT SHOE TAP

Beginner/Intermediate level. No tap shoes required.

This is a great class if you’re ready to add some tap steps, playfulness, rhythms and syncopations to your Lindy Hop.
During this course I will be teaching you basic tap steps, exercises, drills and fun combinations to improve your timing, rhythm and technique.

  • Day: Wednesday’s
  • Time: 7.15 – 8.00 pm
  • 4 week course commencing Wednesday November 25th, 2020.
  • £40 / 4 weeks

 

4 – CHARLESTON/SWING FITNESS FUN for Absolute Beginners.

All Levels

Perfect class for new dancers wanting to learn some basic Charleston and Lindy steps, keeping you fit whilst having lots of fun. I am currently only booking this as a two week course but I’m open to continue if I have enough interest for more.
